Urban Ensemble "Hespérides" in Grevenmacher
This complex houses a "Résidence Service" for elderly people allowing independance and autonomy, ownership and a choice of services and health and care facilities. The ensemble is located at less than 10 minutes walking distance from the city centre of Grevenmacher and has a splendid view of the Moselle landscape and vineyards. Unfortunately the project was suspended despite of great public interest and after having successfully received building authorization.

Market in Fresno (Christopher Alexander)
"If we want to take an ecological view of architecture, we naturally try to take the view that our job on earth is to create life in buildings and in towns, not only in the "wild" part of nature. This is quite different from merely preserving the natural life which exists. It means creating life in man-made things and natural things together."
